Trio – a collaborative effort set up to examine the possibilities of cross-disciplinary collaboration (dance and other art genres) and performance as a form of communicative art in the present society and environment, honoring both traditional convention and contemporary development in dance performing arts.
This production reflects the mission and interest of different art disciplines (film, theoretical, animateuring, light and sound design), while developing, honing and creating experimental dance works that will challenge both artistry and technicality of their profession working within and across other art forms.
'Trio' thus reveals and physicalizes the inquisitive eagerness of various artistes coming together, exploring, unraveling communication barriers and breaking boundaries between disciplines in an effort to reach a new form of dance presentation

Our heart sought to speak, yet does not want to tell this world.
However it affects our world unknowingly....
Yearn; the social orders

Father
Choreographer: Benedict Soh Kian Leng
"FATHER" draws its inspiration from Royston's award winning short film "Sons". While exploring and seeking a platform of dialogue in response to the film, it also challenges both artistry and technicality of film and dance working within and across each art form.
Reminiscent of a long forgotten yearning for love and bond buried deep within, the son spilled his emotions and regrets with regards to his past relationship with the father. "FATHER" sets off on a journey to reconnect and address the ambiguous relationship between Father and Son.
P.S - we would like to dedicate this work to our father and say:
"we love you Pa!"
The social orders tied us down, making us yearn for more.
In the end, it left us broken and suppressed feelings.
But is it necessary to attain all? Till we realised, it is too late?
